WSNS Academy has developed these 'Phases of Training'
under the guidance of Roger C. Rose. Using innovative methods,
Roger has integrated every facet of training into a progressive program
using periodization. This allows the athlete to develop short-,
medium-, and long-term goals. The programs consist of various areas
of training, each leading to the next. The training is designed to build
the neuromuscular system from the inside-out. This method allows
the neuromuscular system (Peripheral Nervous System and Muscular
System) to adapt to proper movement patterns and recondition the
body's postural distortions, due to muscular imbalances.
The phases of training are as follows:
Corrective Exercise Training (CET)
Integrated Stabilization Training (IST)
Stabilization Equivalent Training (SET)
Muscular Development Training (MDT)
Maximal Strength Training (MST)
Elastic Equivalent Training (EET)
Maximal Power Training (MPT)
Titles are adapted from the National Academy of Sports Medicine's OPT Model.
Actual programs were developed and designed by Roger C. Rose, CPT.
