WSNS Academy is committed to educating youth on the
variables involved in nutrition. We are further committed to
ensuring that all participants have an understanding of the
basics of nutrition and how to effectively maintain a healthy
lifestyle. It has been proven in numerous studies that the
nutrients, or lack of nutrients in the body directly affect mood,
memory, performance and a long list of other basic functions.
It is our goal to teach our athletes how to properly fuel their
bodies for better health and performance.
The dietary supplement industry has blown-up in the past five-years, to heights that could
never have been imagined. There are pills, powders, liquids, and other forms of
supplements... all boasting a variety of effects. WSN Sports Academy has a very basic view on
the use and/or consumption of dietary supplements: less is more!

We do see positive effects from the use of some supplements, but only recommend their use
under the guidance of a certified trainer or physician. We do not endorse any brand, and
certainly do not endorse the use of illegal substances. The following is a quick view of
"approved" supplements:

Protein - Soy, Whey, Egg, Casein

Creatine - Monohydrate, Ethyl Ester (CEE)

Branch-chain Amino Acids - Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine

Glutamine


ATTENTION! Supplements should only be used by those 15 years of age and older and under the supervision
of a certified trainer, physician, and/or legal parent/guardian.
WSN Sports Academy is not legally responsible for any supplements used outside of those recommended
under direct care of our staff. Direct care indicates a written recommendation from our staff, signed and dated by
the legal parents/guardian of the participant.
